An unexpected pregnancy not only weighs on the woman pregnant but also the partner. It’s important to address how you’re feeling throughout your journey to best support your partner.
All you can do is your best and find the tools and resources that can better equip you for what’s to come. Men deserve support, too. We can help.

We’re here to talk with you in a safe and confidential space. Asking for help is a courageous and humble step. You are not alone.
How to Support Your Partner
Figuring out how to support your partner can seem complicated, but you are not alone. After talking to someone you trust, it’s important to support your partner as she navigates this difficult time. Here are some tips:
- Talk with her and listen to her. Keep the lines of communication open between the two of you at all times.
- Talk with the people who care. In addition to keeping the lines of communication open between the two of you, it’s important to discuss the situation with parents and others who’ll be directly affected. Keeping this a secret will only add to the stress – yours and hers.
- Educate yourself. Collect information and seek advice from people you trust.
- Be honest with her and yourself. Own and share how you feel at all times. You’ll be surprised at how much it will help her to know that you share the same concerns.
